Our Own Boulevard

Reinventing Route 25A from the Stony Brook Train Station to Shore Road.  SBU Sustainability students propose
ideas to reinvent Route 25A as a people-friendly boulevard.  The students will present the results of their class project from
Prof. Marc Fasanella’s Environmental and Sustainable Design class.  A Q&A discussion will follow.

The Community’s Role in Land Use Comprehensive Planning:

Regional and Local.  David Calone, Chair, Suffolk County Planning Commission.  During Mr. Calone tenure the County conducted and adopted a master plan to guide development through 2050.  Successful communities and regions share their vision and collaborate. The regional plan is an important tool and guide for communities to be proactive in local planning for their future.  


The Three Village Community Trust is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting the unique character of this
community through the acquisition of diverse properties, either through gift or purchase. Our mission is to preserve and protect our
natural resources and our heritage through the restoration and adaptive reuse of historical sites and structures.
